Kuku Street Apparel is a fashion streetwear trader that also operates as a digital pop-up shop for independent designers from around the world. Their collection is inspired by the 80s and 90s street, hip-hop and skater-rat fashion, combined with an elevated, contemporary urban sensibility.
Playfulness, freshness and coolness were the key major points that we had to focus on communicating with the logo design for this brand. We selected a bold skewed font, to give a feeling of direction and intensity, and chose cool, bright and acid colors to make the logo pop. Utilizing the symmetry of the wordmark, we flipped the second "K" to give it a proprietary design element.
We designed the key physical brand touchpoints, such as price tags and shopping bags.
We undertook strategizing and design for the digital presence of the brand. We came up with concepts and design for daily social media content, Google Ads and e-newsletters, as well as seasonal and sales digital campaigns.
After completing the corporate identity for KUKU Street Apparel, we proceeded to carry the design into a website with a holistically designed brand experience.
